I use my 5qt crockpot whenever possible, but lately I have been trying to use my small 3qt crockpot for desserts. Do you have any recipes for crockpot desserts you would like to share? I make this dessert often and everyone enjoys it :) (I don't remember where I got it from, but I have seen it in different places, and varies alittle, but this way works well)

Butterscotch Apple Crisp

6 cups of sliced peeled tart apples
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 (3 1/2 oz) cook & serve butterschotch pudding mix
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup cold butter or margarine

place apples in a 3 qt crockpot

In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, oats, pudding mix and cinnamon.

Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over the apples.

Cover and cook on low for 5 hours or until apples are tender.

I serve with vanilla ice cream.

I stir the apple & crisp together towards the end of cooking, this makes sure the crisp part of it gets to every apple.
