I just had my third deep fryer poop out on me in like 5 yrs. this one was a Rival. I've had DeLonghi and one other brand. I see quite a few "ultrex" brand fryers on ebay. Any suggestions??

I won’t be much help because I’ve only ever owned one deep fryer - it’s a Presto Fry Daddy. It’s fairly small (holds four cups of oil) but dh and I don’t deep fry very often so it’s enough for us. We usually use our air fryer instead. But the Fry Daddy does hold up well.

I appreciate the suggestions on these Cuisinart CDF-500 for it's compact-size. I needed something small to fry things in so I got this one. If you are making french fries (they are gorgeous!), make sure to cook them according to the recipe booklet.
