Wow that's pretty cool. And it looks pretty accurate to me. I lived near St. Louis for most of my life, then around 11 my mom moved us to Gary Indiana. I first heard someone call it pop there and it sounded so weird to me. It seems like a baby word to me and when I hear adults use it, it's like hearing an adult say booboo or wee wee. I dunno. Just sounds weird to me. :laugh:
We call it soda or coke. My Grandma who grew up in Rhode Island calls it "soder". We used to get a kick out of that as kids, no clue why. I too say soda pop when being a smart alec.
I call it soft drink, DH calls it pop (yes, I think its a regional thing ~ even the grocery store signs over the aisles here say "pop"...drives me nuts!) :rollsmile
