some guy blew a stop light doing 55. totaled our car, now we are dealing with insurance, workmans comp, supplemental insurance and looking for a car.

this happened dec 24th, dh was transported to the er by squad, he now has something called " post concussion syndrome" never heard of it but he is dealing with headaches. the dr told us to settle onteh car but not on any thing medical. he has no idea how long dh will suffer.

workmans comp jumped in and told us they over rule all other insurance , and they will deal with it. dh wanted to not have a claim on them but he was on company time.

Oh,no Kim! I am so sorry to hear this. Definitely follow your doctor's advice on the head injury stuff - don't sign anything!

Best of luck and wishing your DH a speedy recovery!

I hope things work out and begins to feel better. I think though, that I would consult a personal injury lawyer,*1st consult is usually free). I wouldn't trust workers comp. etc. Hang in there.

So sorry to hear about this. Hopefully DH will not have to suffer too long. I know how awful these headaches can be (been there). And I hope Workman's comp is able to get you all you deserve.

I am so sorry this happened. I hope DH gets to feeling better soon!

Also, check out the workers comp laws in your state. I had a claim about six years ago and after some digging, I found out that I was not required to use the doctor that my company preferred. While I'm sure the company is honorable, the bottom line is they are going to protect themselves as much as possible. You need to make sure DH is getting protected as well!

HUGS!!!
