Okay I got to see my MS specialist for the first time yesterday. I REALLY like him. Right now I have Relapsing-Remitting MS which means my symptoms come and go. But he says it could be close on chaging to Progressive since I don't always bounce back from my symptome.

I am going to have a spinal MRI to make sure I don't have lesions on my spine to match the ones on my brain. And I am starting on a med. called Rebif as soon as my insurance approves it. They will send a nurse to my house to show me and my dh how to give me shots. I will have to have 3 a week.

I am scared to death of needles so pray I can do it..lol.

Angie, I'm glad you like your new doc. That means so much and it sounds like he/she is really trying. I hope your insurance approves the med and that it won't be scary for you to get the shot.

I will say a prayer for you to feel better and that the tests all come out negative.

Hugs and prayers,

Dolphin

i'm so glad you found a doctor that you like. that makes a world of difference in coping with any illness. i'm sure you'll get used to the needles, just make sure you ask any questions you have about the meds or anything else when the nurse comes out. that is what they are there for.:hugz:
