Would you ever consider living in one of those?
I think they look a little funky but I love the idea of being almost completely self sustaining. As dh and talk about what we might do in the future I find myself wanting to build one in a big way.
Do you know anyone who lives in one?

A link for others in case they aren't familar with them.
I think it's an interesting concept.
I think they'd blend well in the mountains in NM. :)

Pretty neat concept. What kind of price range do they fall into as far as having one built? I couldn't find that info on the site, but I could have overlooked it.

Those are pretty cool. I hadn't heard of them before.

That's what I was thinking too Sara ;) :)
I'm sure they can be pretty pricey to build although they use things like recycled tires filled with mud for the outside wall insulations (plastered with stucco), etc.....I think many are built by the homeowners themselves. I'm just really starting to fall in love with this idea.
