Easy Barbecue Meatballs


Recipe Description
This is a very easy and frugal meatball recipe that I've been making for years. It is my own recipe.​
Preparation Steps:
You will need a baking pan lined with aluminum foil and a large bowl for mixing the ingredients in. Also a piece of aluminum foil to go over the top of the pan.​

Ingredients:
1 1/2 to 2 pounds of ground beef
1 single pkg. of round buttery crackers, crumbled
1 small diced onion
1 Tbsp Italian bread crumbs
1 egg
1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce​
Serves:
Directions:
Mix ground beef, crumbled crackers, diced onion, egg, and bread crumbs really well in a mixing bowl. Then form into 1 inch balls and place in prepared baking pan with foil. Pour your favorite barbecue sauce over the top, cover with foil and bake in a 400 degree oven for approximately 1 hour or until done through and through. About half way through the baking lift one edge of the aluminum foil and drain off any grease from the hamburger.

*These meatballs can be made ahead and frozen. Also if you don't want to use barbecue sauce you can use these meatballs for any other recipe that calls for meatballs.​
