DBF is on his way over w/ this. I've never cooked it and don't know what to do w/ it. It is not "loose meat" but in casings . . .Aw, please help!

I would boil it for 15 or 20 minutes and then brown it in a fry pan or on the grill.
I have never eaten elk before but sausage is good this way. You could eat it by it's self cooked this way, with sauce, or on a bun with mustard.

Ended up

boiling it for a bit and then letting it pan fry. It was absolutely fabulous! Very lean so I pan fried it w/ just a touch of oil and now, I want more! Thank you PKellyC! We ate it w/ french toast. I had old bread and eggs to use. It was really good. The rest of the sausage is "loose" so I proposed spaghetti.
