Has anyone created a journal for themselves??

Has anyone used this book ?

I am just getting back into journaling ( after a really horrible experience many years ago) and I have found it is very difficult and I am just not sure where to start. I have divided my life in to chapters but I am just not sure I am ready to see it in such permanency on a page - I really like SARK's style but I am not "free" enough to just flow - everything is tackled in such a disciplined school type manner - I have a real creative block and I am sure the styfiled nature will be evident in what I write.

Any one able to offer advice on how to get past this boggle.

Is anyone out there effectively journaling??

I find that having chapters or categories to write in effectively stops the juices flowing. Just start writing, it will come. Don't try to write to a formula of what goes into what chapter, just write as it comes out. If you are doing an electronic journal you can rearrange it later, but I don't really see the need to. You are doing your journal for you, not for anyone else to make sense of. Good luck, Kimmee.

I keep a prayer journal, which I write in every day, sometimes, twice a day. I also started a journal the day Matthew and I got married and have written in it everyday! Since we are not going to have kids, I will be giving it to Matthew. Until I decide when to give it to him, I will write in it everyday......:D

I lived through Sara Banbrethnac's (sp) books for a couple of years, they really changed my outlook on life as it applies to ME. Not that life only applies to me, but before these books, my life so revolved around my family. Her books, daily excercises, wisdom and gratitude journals have impacted me in a BIG way. When I first started journaling for the gratitude journals, everything I wrote in it was related to material things and money. After it became a habit, they related to those things that cannot be owned or touched, but rather felt from the heart.

Keep journaling Kimmee, it takes some practice to find yourself through your own writing.
