I'm not sure which is the right forum for this topic. We have an exchange student from China, a 17-yo male. He is awesome. He's been absolutely no trouble, and he's really become part of the family.

For Thanksgiving, one of our former exchange students came to visit from Hong Kong, a 20 yo female. She, too became one of the family.

We had a fantastic holiday. The weather was perfect. We walked out in the pasture, they climbed on the round hay bales, threw rocks in the pond, etc. Stuff they had never done before. Both of them said, they loved Thanksgiving.

I feel like we (my husband and 2 children plus the visiting cousins) were maybe a blessing to these two students.

All weekend the kids have been playing, watching videos, catching up on sleep, and EATING!

Lots of people have said our students are very lucky, but I think we're the lucky ones.

Just wanted to share!
