Fast & Frugal Gift Soap...............

Materials needed - purchased bar soap with flat surface, package of paraffin wax, cutout pattern or picture from wrapping paper, and a double boiler. Wet surface of pattern and soap with a drop or so of water. Rub soap with your finger. Place cut out on soap and smooth down. Melt wax in double boiler. Dip soap, decal side down into melted wax. Careful not to dip your fingers. Place face up on paper towel. The wax will dry almost instantly. Beautiful Custom soaps for pennies!

Wrap in colored cello wrap, they make great gifts.......

Edited to add....... You can use clip art to decorate these, this will allow you to personalize them, use your graphics programs to add names, photos copies of hotos, not the real thing) , poems, scriptures, whatever you like

what happens to the wax when you use the soap? would it work with melted clear glycerine soap too, instead of wax?
