I get this error since last night using Firefox ( Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 GTB7.0 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729) ).

Prior to last night, Firefox worked fine for FV forum. Opera from same machine works. I deleted the FV cookie to no avail.

Yes. I had an incorrect setting on the server while I was recompiling apache. Clearing your cache in the browser should fix this.

Recompiling for specific chip and hardware gives a much leaner optimized application with less bloat.

It makes the binary specifically tuned to your hardware configuration.

A generic binary works too, but always has extra code to make it compatible for different hardware.

But when I logged in with Firefox I had an error message briefly on top of the page. Something about an array, maybe the number 232 and I think the word 'reference' was involved too.

Try to take a screen shot next time it shows up. Then I can fix the error if it is reproducible
