I bought these books for DH for Christmas. Is anyone familiar with them? There is quite a bit of information in them about homesteading/prepping/etc....

Even a whole chapter on how to make your own coffin :dopey:

I really want the whole set. My sister gave me the first two books for xmas last year.

Love that series! I had the whole set as a teenager, but they must have gotten lost in moving around. I only have one left. I need to rebuy these-I think my kids would like them.

I had 1 through 6 and I think I left them behind when I moved. Read them a number of times because it made me feel closer to home. I grew up in the Appalachia area in WV.

Those books are very realistic of how people lived. I'd get homesick and read them.
