Ladies - I broke free outta the house today!! Mind you it was to go to the walk in clinic to get my eyes looked at along with my mega sore throat and chest/lungs. Hobbled on over to Zellers for the Pharmacy too! You know its bad when the pharmacist says hes got no meds for me and that I need to not go back :lol: We've seen each other 3 times/wk for the past month now. When will I get better? LOL

Today I have:

* sponge bathed
* lysol'ed all the trash bins and furniture
* wiped down surfaces with disenfectant
* tidied up and picked up
* gone to walk in clinic and pharmacy
* restocked the tissues and TP wherever necessary
* gotten dressed and dang does it ever feel good to be outta jammies and off the couch! WOOHOO!!!!

Today I still have to:

* wash my hair in the sink later this evening
* wrap up bf's Valentine's gift
* wash small load of laundry - not frugal but more manageable for me on my feet
* soak and clean foot for the 2nd time
* rest with foot up and take it easy

Man - today I feel like a woman with a new lease on life! :yay:

Well, today I took DS to his doctor's appointment (just a well visit checkup) and that pretty much wiped me out for the day. We live about a mile from the doctors so it's a 15 minute walk, but I wasn't going to do that with 10 inches of snow/ice on the ground and it's only 20 degrees out. Well, after spending 20 minutes trying to shovel out my car, the only way I could make the appointment was to walk - carrying a 15lb6oz baby - took me about half and hour to get there and 45 minutes to get back. Thought my arms were going to fall off! DH has the stroller, so I had to carry him.

Then, around 5pm, he has a "fussy" reaction to the shots (vaccines) - he cries for an hour and half while I have to hold him and walk around. I asked DH to pick up Tylenol on the way home since the doctor said I could give him some if he had a re-action, but DH was over an hour away (I called him on his cell).

Getting dinner ready and on the table was a miracle tonight! TGIF!!

Hope you feel better shorty!!
