Recipe Description
Very Good and easy
Preparation Steps:Prepare a 1 lb. bag of dried navy beans according to
package directions. I do it in a crockpot overnight.

Ingredients:1 pound navy beans
1 can chopped
tomatoes
1 cup potatoes cut
into small pieces
1 cup carrots cut
into small pieces
1 cup chopped onion
(or equivalent
dehydrated onions)
2 cloves garlic,
chopped (or
equivalent garlic
powder)
1/4 c oil (or you can
chop up some
bacon)
Serves:1 can chopped

After the "first hour" of cooking add:

powder)
1/4 c oil (or you can chop up some bacon)
more water as needed (a quart or so, depending on
how much you used for cooking the beans)
Continue cooking until the vegetables are tender,
add salt and pepper to taste. 4-6 servings.
