Combining all of my errands tomorrow. I will make one loop around the town and complete my errands for the week. (Banking, Aldi's, Library)

Keeping lights off until dark

unplugging appliances (especially battery chargers)

Washing 3 loads of laundry - using less detergent and a 1/4 of fabric softener in the dryer

Try to use dishwasher only 3 times or less this week. Using less detergent.

-added up how much I've spent at grocery store this month and REFUSING to spend any more except on milk, bread, veggies
-menu planning for the week
-started taking 25 cents from kids' allowances for lights left on in their rooms...Very effective!
-planning menu and presents for Valentine's Day. Budgeting $25 for total, including cards and candy for 2 classrooms
-DD had a friend over for free entertainment
-reading and watching Young and the Restless from last week for my entertainment
-listing coupons on here for trade
-turned heat down upstairs...DH had it set on 70!
-left oven ajar after cooking dinner to heat kitchen and dining room
-switched out DD's old messed up backpack for a "newer" one she had stashed in her closet. She used it on sleepovers but now it's for school. I bought it on clearance at Target last year knowing that one day it would be needed. The same almost identical one costs app. 15 now.

*We did eat out for lunch (Papa Gino's) but got the two pizza deal, so we have enough for two more leftover meals
*Reused a giftbag and tissue paper to wrap a birthday present
*Took my own coffee to church this morning
*Researched some cloth diaper laundering methods online, and crunched some numbers to see how much we can save if we use them

- had a fire this afternoon to help heat the house

Not to frugal here, our dog was missing and came home all banged up, I wasn't sure if he got ran over or attacked. We took him to the vet, he had to spend last night. I picked him up today, they said his hip was out. They fixed him all up, gave us pain pills for him and a bill for 140.00. I was praying he was okay. Thank you lord for our lovely doggie Spanky.

Back to being frugal;
all meals at home, got plenty of free exersize taking the dog out.
Made hm taco seasoning, used deer burger for meat. Made menu out for the rest of month.
Last night sewed Spanky a hugh doggie pillow using the stuffing from old pillows I was going to toss. The pillow cost 20.00 at the store, and I just used stuff I already had here. Also made 2 barbie dresses.
