I thought I would start this for the week.

- Dinner from scratch - doubled the recipe and put half in the freezer.
- made 2 loaves of banana bread - 1 for the freezer and 1 for breakfast
- lights off all day!
- combined lots of errands - should make my week easier
- got some great deals at CVS, filling out a form for a $5 McDonalds gift certificate, from the deals I got
- used some leftover fencing for something for the peas to climb. I almost bought lattice work for it, but it was $20 for what we needed. I decided to try to come up with something from around the house or yard and I did.
- went for a walk for exercise
- added some laundry detergent and rice to my stockpile
- hung a load of laundry
- washed ziploc bags
- used cloth napkins

Well, this week started on an odd note since DH's grandmother passed away last week, and the calling hours were Sunday and the funeral was today. So I've gotten derailed from my usual plans...

Sunday...
*Even though we had planned to eat out after calling hours, we left early (DS was being a fussypants) and came home and made meatloaf. Packed up leftovers to take to lunch for work. All meals at home, we only bought coffee once.
*Researched the house we want to buy, requested a showing for next Sunday
*Bought gas today on $.05 off Sunday

Monday...
*Lunch was free (after the funeral, big meal with extended family)
*DS and DH re-wore the same outfits from calling hours, no need to re-iron or wash
*Dinner was made at home
*Reading library book that is due tomorrow
*Entering coke codes
*Got an email from Famous Footwear with a $5/5 coupon (it's birthday season for me)
*Researching a bill I got that I don't believe is correct
*Using a cleaning cloth sample to clean my bathroom

I forgot to post!
I refused to put the heat on even though it's a bit chilly here. 50's. Using fleece coats indoors and snugling with my husband.

All meals from scratch. No dinners out.

I went to the coffee shop, but I was treated that time. (I'll have to repay the favor when I get some spending money back)

Public transportation for work. (it's paid for my work and supplemented by pretax fund.

I freecycled some things off.

I didn't find any loss leaders yet

I went fabric shopping, bu realised I have a ton- that's 2 thousand pounds of fabric! So, I left.

Tuesday/Wednesday

I have an ear/sinus infection so I have not been up to doing many frugal things. Best I can say is that I have been fugal by my lack of motivation to do anything but lay around the house.

~ managed to not have to turn on the heat, although it was chilly this morning and I used the heater fan in the family room this morning to take the chill out
~ all meals at home
~ only drove to the doctor & pharmacy on Tuesday/no driving today (MIL volunteered to take the girls to their classes & practices today)
~ lights off
~ started working on the May Budget

- made chicken noodle soup from the chicken I made this past weekend
- dh took leftovers for lunch
- combined errands
- lights off most of the day
- dd had an ice cream social last night and I used a B1G1 coupon, so total for both of us was $3, I actually tipped the guy, they had to dig deep to find something to accomodate dd - she has an egg and milk allergy
- hung laundry
- mailed in a rebate form

On the unfrugal side of things, ds had a check up today and they told me that his birth mark has to come off and referred us to a surgeon. I have been worried about it, it has gotten larger and is looking pretty funky. More doctor bills, yay! Our budget is hurting from all of this.
