Not going anywhere today.
Baked and decorated some cookies this am for DD to give as a b'day present for a friend.
Baked 2 loaves of bread, granola bars, brownies, some terriaki chicken and have a big crock of veggie soup going.
It is rainy here today so will wait to do the laundry until the weather is better.
All lights are off-no fans/AC.

Just vegging out this afternoon watching the Yankees and Mets play on TV.

I am not murdering or otherwise harming all the fireworks shooter-offers that are scaring my dogs. I figure this will save me a bundle in criminal defense attorney fees and keep me out of "the big house."

Sunday, June 29th...

*Did not eat out, except for some DD coffee on our evening walk.
*Planned dinner for tomorrow
*Dinner tonight was meatless (pasta) and used up two open jars of spaghetti sauce hanging out in the fridge
*A/C has been running most of the day, but I did turn it off for church and our walk
*Found $.06 on the ground
*Went to CVS and got some good deal, although not as good had I planned it ahead of time. Ended up spending $29.00 total, but I "saved" $51 - and we now have enough laundry detergent and toilet paper to last at least through the end of the year.
*Finally finished sorting through my coupons.
*Had leftovers for lunch, and packed up the leftovers from the leftovers to take to work for lunch tomorrow
*Moved $$ around in my IRA

Ate breakfast out with DH because we had been good all week with our "spending lockdown". Cheaper than lunch or dinner.

A/C on 76 all day
Powerwashed the pool using soap we already had
turned off lights as I found them
lunch and dinner from the pantry
bought only sale items at Shop Rite
tended my garden :) free veges and herbs!
continued to work towards our goal of paying off cc's
got together a list of metal to scrap for extra $$$
decluttered some stuff from the yard

TODAY:
breakfast at home
lunch at the office brought from home
dinner from the pantry
a/c on 76 during the day
will hang a few clothes to dry outside
paying motor vehicle registrations in person instead of charging online

No fans or AC yet...it is so humid here that you can cut the atmoshere with a knife-will take a quick cool rinse instead.
Cleaned kitchen and washed floor with homemade swiffer (cloths soaked in cleaner.)
Will clean the fridge today and supper will be leftovers. DH is gone until tomorrow so no need to cook.
This afternoon I will be doing my taxes for my business so that should take up the bulk of time.
No laundry again today-looks like thunderstorms. Hopefully tomorrow.

Have a great day all!
