I thought I would get a head start on this one!

My challenge for myself this week is to have 4 no spend days! It may sound like cake to some of you, but I always end up having to run to the store for something or another. Maybe next week I can get to 5!

Also this week, no eating out! We'll see how it goes. :)

Weekends are hard...

DH and I went to breakfast this a.m.-our treat to ourselves for being frugal all week. Alot cheaper than dinner out.
We bought 12 Disney serigraph animation cels at a yard sale yesterday to put on eBay. Not frugal initially, but will make us $$$ to go towards paying down our debt.
Dinner is free today, dinner at the in-laws
Lunch was leftover sloppy joes
I organized and decluttered my kitchen cabinets today
Got the kids a PS2 with tons of games yesterday at a yard sale for $60. Hopefully we can sell the games they don't like and recoup the money. Good entertainment for the kiddies.
A/C on 76 today even though it's over 90 outside. The ceiling fans help alot
Listed 3 things on ebay last night

I'm in, although I certainly haven't done a lot of frugal things today.

*Listed two things on eBay
*Entering coke codes
*Checked the dumpster (nothing good except a maple dresser I don't need)
*Washed two loads of laundry in cold
*Dinner was two kinds of fish, using up what we had leftover in the freezer

Sunday:

*stayed home / no spend
*laundry with 1/2 detergent, hung out to dry
*a/c only ran for 3 hours this afternoon, set on 80
*leftovers for dinner
*cut coupons
*found out DH is sending me and the kids camping a full week early (while he is still at work), so that will save a lot on groceries (the camping food budget is already funded and separate from my usual grocery budget)

Tough day! We went to Disneyland.

We did spend, but we were able to keep it very very minimal considering!

-We went to MC Donald's for breakfast, but used a coupon, so it only cost about $2 for us and $2 our friend paid to get 4 breakfast sandwiches.
-Instead of buying lunch at the park which would have been at least $25 or more, we brought sandwiches from home, and bought a plate of fries to split for $3.
-We also brought lots of water bottles and some fruit for snacks
-No souveniers!
-Ate dinner at the in-laws house. We did pick up a couple of groceries for them, but that's okay.
-Did all our laundry at the in-laws house
-Since we were gone all day, no lights or A/C on at home

It's a frugal week around here.

I cut dh and both ds's hair last night, after we got home from the pool.
Before taking the kids to the pool, I gave them a small, healthy snack at home. This stopped the longing looks at the snack stand once we got there.
I'm working all week, so it's obviously a no-spend week around here.
I'm making all of our meals from scratch and am packing everyone's lunches from home.
I've done the laundry in cold water and am hanging things that don't need to be ironed.
I'm still working on knitting a scarf for dd for Christmas, and when I finish that, I'll be working on a scarf for my mother for Christmas.
