We are going to have to watch every penny even more now seeing as dh won't be working for a week or so because of his hand.

~all lights, tv, radio and computer off when not in use
~blinds opened to let in the light and warmth from the sun
~we were given more deer meat last night (our freezer is almost full)
~watching how often we use the van. There will be several trips to the doctor for rebandaging and I have 5 recitals with the kids this week.

I forgot to put down that I bought 10 bags of quilt batting yesterday. She regularly sells them for $12.00 for queen size, however sold them to me for $9.00 per bag. That is a huge savings. I can now make a huge amount of baby quilts with that much batting.

Today has also been a no spend day.

Sunday, Nov. 19th...

*Took my own coffee to church, and didn't buy any muffins or doughnuts
*Used a coupon and gift card at Babies R Us to buy diapers
*Got a new battery for my pedometer instead of getting a new pedometer
*My mother is watching DS for free babysitting!
*We wanted to eat lunch out and chose the mall food court instead of Olive Garden, saved at least $20
*My mom wants some classical CDs for Christmas, so I went to Newbury Comics and picked up some used ones for $5 each. I'll pick up a few more before Christmas.

I really need to work harder on keeping the blinds up and letting the sun shine in.....a lot of people posted about that! Pretty frugal so far sitting home recovering from surgery. Made quite a few casseroles before I went in so those all came in handy. Really I should be doing that more often, freeze ahead meals. Maybe that will be my goal for this week, look through the recipe books and make some more casseroles for the busy hockey and figure skating days!

~ making a string quilt with old clothes and leftover quilting fabric...for a Christmas gift.
~ drove dh to the doctor's, and took my book with me to read. Stopped by home for lunch before going to fill the prescription...so loop route.
~ worked out helping to set up a sale for this weekend, and again later at a free gym.
~ took my own water and oranges for snacks for the afternoon. Took my gym clothes in the car with me so I didn't have to backtrack to home before going to the gym.
~ for breakfast had mango lassi from sale mangos I picked up this summer and froze, and hm yogurt.
~ lunch was leftover pizza from last night, which was a clean out the fridge kind of meal.

That's all I can think of right now. I'm tired. But I think I'll walk to my stitching group tonight and stitch on some Christmas presents.
