There's a lot of folks looking for ways to learn frugal skills acc. to that thread, myself included. Mine are canning, knitting, darning, and a few others. Unfortunately, the best skills I own are not of that class unless there's something you need alphabetized or a bookshelf sorted or a spot appraisal of some books.

Anyway, what I was thinking about is that I'd like to find a knitting buddy or darning buddy or.... I can knit, but I have a hard time following a pattern, etc. I'm willing to swap lessons or some books for lessons or negotiate something, but don't even know if this will fly.

Does anyone else think this is a good idea?
