Six pots of cucumbers were planted to get a good start on the 2014 season. Each pot has three seeds planted and placed in the greenhouse. Outdoor planting will be at the end of May. Two types were chosen Cross Country and County Fair. Most of the crop will be made into juice.Annotated pictures depict the process.

Cucumbers placed in outdoor garden.

24 May 2014 Cucumbers Placed in Outdoor Garden. Cucumbers placed in outdoor garden. They will be grown along the trellis, which keeps the fruit off the ground. By using this method harvest is about a month ahead of direct ground sowing. Three hills of Country Fair, and three hills of Cross Country.
