I made these recently and they do taste like Nature Valley brand..But,I will tell you they are not easy to cut into bar's.

4 C. quick oats
1 c. Packed brown sugar
1/2 c. Butter, melted
1/2 c. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

In a large bowl combine all ingredients: mix well. Press firmly

into well greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

Cool and cut into bars.

For a bit of variety add 1/2 - 2/3 cup chopped nuts, seeds or raisins.

For cinnamon Granola Bars- add 1 tsp cinnamon with the rest of the ingredients

For Cinnamon Apple Granola Bars- add 1/2 c. finely chopped DRIED Apples, 1 tsp cinnamon

ENJOY!

Cut them while they're still warm.

Thanks for the recipe! You really have been on a roll lately!

I've been making more stuff from scratch lately too. It's going to be difficult to go back to the icky store-bought stuff when we travel. Without preservatives, homemade stuff wouldn't stay fresh for two weeks while we're gone.
