I have started reading More Than a Mom: Living a full and balanced life when your child has special needs. I swear when we were at the library this book just jumped of the shelf. So far it is really good, and I would recommend it to any mother or father with a special needs child.

Thanks for the recommendation. I was totally feeling that this week. My son is having issues and school and we are adjusting his meds, but of course he's having problems while the meds are adjusted. I just wanted to scream when I see all the "oh, my special needs kid is so awesome and amazing, it's the best blessing ever" kid of posts on Facebook. Yeah, sometimes parenting a special needs child is like a Hallmark card but sometimes you just want to rip your hair out and scream.

I'll totally be checking this book out!

Thanks for the rec! I will see if our library carries it. Telephus44 - I totally have those days. We are still having tons of potty training issues along with food problems and some days I want to be the one having the meltdown.
