I figured a few months ago that getting lean was the perfect activity for lean times. Back in March, I weighed 212lbs and was disgusted with myself. Since then, I have stopped snacking completely and started exercising. I do a daily minimum of 10miles on the exercycle and 40 situps (I started at 20 and have been increasing the number). The result, I'm down to 187lbs and feeling much better. My goal it to get to about 175lbs and then ease back on the exercise (but not actually stop)

Today, 40 situps
12 miles on bike

This post is just the kickstart I needed. Seriously.
Gabe bought me a great recumbent exercise bike that I wanted so badly. I was using it a couple of times daily and then just fizzled out.

Congratulations and thanks!

Whooo, going a long way on that bike. I've biked and that's not easy. Congrats on the weight loss! Keep up the good work!

I park the bike in front of the TV and just ride through a show. An hour goes by very quickly that way. Doesn't really feel like I'm exercising sometimes.

What a great start!! Wow, you've already knocked off so much of that weight! You must be humming the "I'm so sexy" song every time you look at yourself in the mirror! :) I can look in the mirror and think, "eh" and then weigh myself, found I lost a pound, then go look again and think, "Wow, you are looking P-H-A-T (and in a good way)!!" So I can't even imagine how great it must feel to shed 25 of them!!

I've been doing the sit-ups as well, and just got it up to 50. Trying for 100/day.

I can't do regular situps because of my back. But I do have one of those ab machines.
I use it when the dogs are outside. Everytime they go outside, I do 20.
I also have a cardio glide bike that I use when I can. lol
