I was under the inpression it would be more like a girly get together. I didn't realise it would be a SHOWER! I was thinking a more "meet the baby" kind of thing. But nope! tons and tons of wonderful gifts.

5-6 baby outfits
8 packs of diapers ranging from newborn to sz 2
3 tubes desitin/A & D
3 boxes wipes
two nursing shirts (motherwear)
1 bottle of raspberry scented lotion for me
3 blankets (he's wrapped comfy and warm in one right now)
2 boxes gas relief drops
1 box tylenol
3 packages baby toys
1 bath duck that on the bottom tells you if the bath is too hot
1 walmart gift cars
lots and lots of congratulation cards

plus the hostess made cake that was incredible, chocolate covered strawberries, punch, tea, candied nuts, and on and on. It was ...wow, all i can say is wow!

It was wonderful. Aiden must really like the fleece blanket he got yesterday, because he's cuddled right in it again today, happy as a clam. it's white and he looks like he is sleeping in a fluffy cloud, lol. He threw a fit when i tried to put him in a different blanket

the best part was that I got to spend some time talking to other adults!! It was nice being able to compare notes with other moms.
