Ham and Apple Skillet
Recipe Description
A quick and easy recipe from an old friend, Gail P. recently published in Gooseberry Patch's Sunday Dinner at Grandma's cookbook.

Ingredients:3 tbl. butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tbl. dijon mustard
2 cup apples, cored and diced
2 1 lb ham steaks

Directions:Melt butter in a large skillet and add brown sugar and mustard; bring to a simmer. Add apples; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Top apples with ham steaks. Cover with a lid; simmer for about 10 minutes more, until apples are tender and ham is heated through. Remove ham to a platter and cut into serving sized pieces, top with apples and sauce and serve.
