i think im depressed but not sure..its not bad.. i sleep alot and cant get into a set schedule for the day. im getting nothing done the only good thing i have dont is check my email and found out the alumni courses im interested in have finally been posted and i signed up for everything.but my unemployment is used up in june and no one is hiring..i was thinking of getting a part-time job but that will have to wait until i finish my course or i could work on the weekend..

what do u guys think?im not sure what support groups are out there. also i cant stop eating!I know i should eat only healthy food but im eating everything..to day i had 1 bagel with butter spray and for lunch i had an orange and tuna on a bagel..i had too much bread

for dinner i wil have baked cat fish/potatos and spinch

Sounds like you might have some depression going on there, eating too much, sleeping too much, no motivation to get daily things done. I'd recommend seeing your doctor and see what he thinks, he should at least run some blood tests to make sure nothing is wrong physically(thyroid, diabetes, etc) and could probably offer some meds or recommend a support group. (((hugs))), depression is something I am very familiar with, hope you feel better soon. Maybe a part-time weekend job is something that would help you feel better and get you back to feeling more like yourself?

I think you may need some help coping with this, perhaps more than we're "qualified" to give. I would highly suggest that you see your dr. and ask for his advice and get outside into the sunshine if at all possible. I tend to get "sleepy and lazy and want to eat" when I'm depressed too. Hang in there, but don't wait to seek help, life's too short to waste. :hugz:

thanks guy, i do have apt. with the doctor on the 30th of this month and i will try to get out on fri..i just hope the weather is nice

I agree with the others do seek professional help!! Is there anything you can do to occupy your time untill you get to the doc? maybe crafting, reading anything? I think that maube you just need something to keep you busy!!! I know it works for me. I know how you feel beleive me, I have Bi-Polar disorder and OCD to boot! Just keep busy and MAKE yourself get up and moving. Hon, you have to be the MOST important person in your life if not then who's to care for your loved ones?
