Help~ sticky sticker on cd-rom

Ok everyone~

I have a cd-rom that has sticky sticker residue stuck on the read side of a cd-rom. Well this is my office xp cd-rom so i NEED it...lol. How do i get the sticky off so i can use it?? I have tried alcohol, Windex with vinegar, warhorse degreaser, pinesol. so do tell i need to install this cd onto my computer and it wont read it. HELP~

Thanks i havent tried that as i dont have any here i guess i will have to go buy some!
what about nail polish remover? I don't know if the acetone would hurt it or not?

I second Goo Gone! That stuff is amazing and works on anything. You'll find many uses for it if you buy it. It'll last forever too. Sometimes they have it at Dollar Tree!o

I love Goo Gone! Gets the goo off almost before you get it to the goo... okay, a tad after (but not much!)

Or use Open Office an alternative to Microsoft Office.

WD-40 will take off the residue, not sure if it will harm the CD though.

Thanks everyone, i am not planning a trip to town for a few more days so i just installed my windows office 97 it will work for what i need.~
