You bet! One of my kids compared 5 homemade cleaners to commercial brass cleaner on an antique copper boiler for a science fair.
The clean winner was vinegar and salt with a dab of flour to make it paste consistancy. It beat out the commercial cleaner by a long shot. A close second was lemon and salt.

Homemade Brass cleaner
Thanks I was just cleaning my glass & brass chandelier today and seen that the brass needed cleaning but didn't have any brass cleaner. I'll try that tomorrow! Thanks so much!!!
