The e-group we go on field trips with has started a stamp collecting time each month where the kids can come and trade stamps and I suppose work on their albums. I asked ds1 if he was interested and he said yes. I don't want to invest a bunch of money since I don't know if he'll stick with it. What basic supplies do you suggest I have for him or what do your kiddos enjoy using for their stamps?

Yes, my kids started collecting years ago. We got a stamp book which wasn't worth the price we paid for it. Now they keep them in a box and we are looking for a newer stampbook to keep them in.

They started with collecting them off of mail that came into our home. We plan on now going to new stamps because there are so many beautiful ones out there now.

I'm hoping they will continue collecting them well into old age.
