Senator Kerry gave, in my not so humble opinion, one of the best speeches I think I've ever heard in my life.
I agree with him & would love to see America united instead of divided along partisan lines.
I realize we are members of a free society where anyone can say anything they wish and have every right to do so, but it's been hard to hear people badmouthing family & even though I won't be invited to the inaugaration, my In-Laws will, and that's the thing I've learned the most in this family - the blood runs thick....I never knew familial loyalties growing up. I was raised hearing family members stab each other in the back behind each others backs & that's something I never wanted my children to know or ever become accustomed to. I'm proud to be a Bush....my immediate family has had a hard row to hoe - a lot of it of our own making, but alot of it just because the odds were against us.
Again - to all of you that exercised your right to vote, regardless of the party lines, thank you for doing your Patriotic, American duty.
I realize I'm exhausted & waning a bit nostalgic, patriotic, and familial.....but I'm exercising my right to bore you to tears with my ramblings!!
The President has also given a great speech....but nothing will top Senator Kerry's......Awesome - sheer genius....
I need a nap!!
We love ya Dubya!!
