My Tightwad Gazette with the recipe I use is on loan-out and I need to make a batch of chocolate syrup. Can anyone who has it post it please? Thanks in advance!
1/2 C cocoa
1 C water
2 C sugar
1/8 t salt
1/4 t vanilla
Mix the cocoa and the water in a saucepan. Heat and stir to dissolve the cocoa. Ad the sugar, and stir to dissolve. Boil 3 minutes. Add the salt & the vanilla. Pour into a sterilized pint jar, and store covered in the refrigerator. Keeps for several months.
