Hi CJ! We made it though the night! We are in Tennessee. We had one confirmed tornado come through the area and had to wait out the storms in a safe place due to possible others. We were fortunate. Only 2 homes were destroyed and no deaths. Another city had their downtown area demolished. I think so far the death count is at 10 people. :( It was a very bad nite.

We had tornados all around us. Some as close as 15 miles where major damage was done. My aunt just lives a block where there was a lot of damage. She only had a few trees limbs down and no power. We were truly blessed that we only got some rain. I hope everyone else is doing okay.

My heart goes out to those who have lost family and friends due to the storms and tornadoes. For those who will be cleaning up and rebuilding, my wishes for them are of communities rallying around to help, and for healing in this time of pain.

My heart and prayers goes out to the victims and their families of the storms last night. I went through the '79 tornado that devastated our town with a F4 tornado and I remember how hard the aftermath and rebuilding was. I will keep all in my prayers.

I'm in MO and we are fine. The kids slept through it in while I stayed glued to the TV. Nothing came any closer than about 30 miles to us so we were lucky.

I'm so glad that all of you who are from the storm hit areas are ok. Is there anyone else here at the Village from that area that we have not heard from???

Nothing came within about 40 miles of us, though it originally looked like it would. Stockton is another town where the downtown area is just gone. Battlefield was just about flattened as well. Now they're saying to look for more of the same today and the rest of the week. I don't think I'll be sleeping much this week, to say the least.

We are safe again. Missouri is not the place to live this spring. We had tornado activity all around us and we lost some trees and our drive is severly washed out, but we are lucky again.
