Happy Summer Long Weekend Month! LOL Both US and Canada have a holiday this month....gotta love long weekends! I didnt see another thread started for this - Im guessing with all the shuffling of the village layout that it got lost in the shuffle...but muhahahaha...I have found it!

My July goals are:

* Track spending, only purpose is to see how much spent per category vs what I am wasting my money on.
* See if I can live off of the proposed budget I have set for myself. Once the money is gone, its gone. I sit at home and do nothing.
* Read another book within the same month
* Continue the purge/declutter project

Simple goals I know but its a struggle to keep up with the few that I have! So...share with us, what are your July goals?

*Use our summer money for experiences, rather than things

• Lose an average of 2.5 lbs a week or better
• Finish one of the apartments so we can get it rented
• Pay at least $1,500 down on our remaining debt
• Retain sanity

~ two lengthy excersize bouts a week
~ drop 4 pounds
~ accomplish/ finish at least 1 more project each week
~ stash at least 300+ in the EF (as we up it to a new level)
~ pay at least 500+ extra towards the morg. principal

-->be greener: drive less, hang laundry, recycle water
-->declutter more aggressively (do I really need that pasta maker?)
-->write some each day
-->be present in the moment
-->take better care of my body (stretch, work on posture, teach baby to walk so I don't have to carry him--kidding!)

-Keep up with all my online challenges
-Work on 1 thing on my 101 challenge
-prepare for arrival of baby
-Take kids to zoo
-Preserve all I can from Garden
-Organize and clean computer room
-organize and purge thru toyroom
-go thru blankets and sheets
-change linens on our bed
-clean under kitchen sink
-organize and purge thru cookbbooks
-Take all popbottles back
-Get kids on insurance
-Turn all loose change into bank
-develope some film

Month End Recap - July 2008 Goals

Hey kids, how'd y'all do for July?

My July goals are:

* Track spending, only purpose is to see how much spent per category vs what I am wasting my money on.
* See if I can live off of the proposed budget I have set for myself. Once the money is gone, its gone. I sit at home and do nothing.
* Read another book within the same month
* Continue the purge/declutter project

So far...I did track my spending and I did still see the pattern of the money being spent (won't say wasted here lol) on food and/or eating out or extra groceries. I was very close to the budget I had set for myself with a few overages and I did just sit at home and did nothing to to help balance it out, as in not spend further into debt. I did start reading another book but did not get it finished but 3/4 of the way through it. And I did purge a lil bit more - not enough but a lil bit more. Every bit still counts!
