Stopped off at Save Mart because they were advertising chicken at .77/lb and canned pineapple at .99/can (20 oz).

Also bought more snacks for the fencing guys, which I guess I'll count in the grocery costs, although it isn't for me.

Total is $81.20

6 cans of pineapple (on sale, reg $11.94) $5.94
4 bags of frozen corn (4 lbs each) $19.16
2 bags of frozen veggies (4 lbs each) $9.58
Chicken (40.76 lbs @ .77/lb) $31.36
4 boxes of bakery cookies $15.16

The cans of pineapple were for stockpiling purposes. It rarely goes on sale, so I bought two cans each of slices, chunks, and crushed.

The corn and veggies are for the chickens.

The chicken is for the dogs.

The cookies are for the fence guys. :)

Since the goats will enjoy the new fence, I reckon the cookies are actually for them.

I think the donkeys suspect that the humans are getting treats. The other day, they had one poor guy cornered. I thought he was going to faint. Obviously not very familiar with donkeys. :)
