So from my to-do list today... yeah, didn't really do ANY of it... I swept and mopped the bathroom floor and organized my and Hubs' drawers in the bathroom, but am putting off the tub until tomorrow... I did go exercise, but not at the gym, at the lake. Aside from that, nada.

Instead I:
Folded and put away laundry in the AM
cleaned out and vacuumed my car
"won" 88 swagbucks
made a shopping list for Walmart (needed a single stop for really random stuff) and went after work
stopped in at CVS
folded MORE laundry, haven't put away yet, maybe in the morning...
vaccumed a bit downstairs
and, as mentioned, mopped the bathroom floor with bleach so now my house smells like a swimming pool (I like it, I can close my eyes and pretend I'm on vacation!)

Tuesday:
AM/Before work:
Put out all the trash and recycling to the curb
Bring in the paint from the back of the van
maybe put away those clothes I sorted, maybe
Go to the gym

During work:
background run more swagbucks stuff (workflow permitting, of course, but it doesn't really interrupt to ignore a video)
Mend DD9's dress
Make grocery list I didn't make today

After work:
15 minutes in each girl's room (like I meant to do today)
15 minutes for putting away laundry
15 minutes for finishing up the downstairs bathroom (just need to clean the tub.)

See, maybe if I don't put painting stuff on the to-do list, I'll somehow get 'round to doing it! :) And yes, that's more than three... but the more I put on, the more choices I have... whereas, if I only write 3, and fail to do even one, I feel like a total loser. :)

Errr, couldn't do all that I wanted yesterday :( . Grocery shopping was great even if it took 50% of my monthly grocery budget :loop: !! But I have a few frozen meals that we need to eat asap so I'll probably be ok till august.

So today I want to :

There is, apparently, a force-field (I suspect quantum energy and a time-space rift) around the gym to keep me from getting there. Oh well, seems that as much as I stress my heartrate should be in the "target zone" all the time!

Yesterday I *DID* get off work early... but I didn't go to Home Depot and get garden bricks, nope, I went to the movies, instead. I have been waiting to see World War Z, and while it wasn't a life-altering experience, it *WAS* two hours without the kids and without work. Now, mind you, Sis still called 3 times and Hubs called even though he KNEW I had gone to the movies... punks! I didn't take any of the calls, of course, but it was distracting and annoying because I worried something as wrong.

Anyway, yesterday:
Dropped two grocery bags of clothes and a figurine/statue off at charity
Went grocery shopping (kids with me, they were terrible, it was not a good experience for any of us...)

That's it for useful things... the kids were being difficult...

Today-- well, obviously I'm not typing this at the beach-- we did not go to the ocean today after all. The patchy weather is the official reason, but DD9 is a bit off, too, and frankly I'm worn out from dealing with her and DD6 and I didn't think any of us would enjoy it enough to be worth the trouble, travel, expense, and risk... so we're sticking close to home today... it's a better idea.

So today we are working on:
Clean the kids' bedrooms
Put away the laundry in my room

There's two kids and two rooms, so that make three things (lazy-person math!) ;D

They've each worked on their rooms a little so far today and now they are playing in their new paddle-pool that they blew up and filled themselves after clearing a space on the deck.

I'll put "clean off the deck" back on the to-do for tomorrow, no point today, there's stuff that need to go to the dump, which is closed today. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! :)

Oh, and if they behave (and by that I mean "avoid driving me any crazier,") we'll go to the community beach this evening for a reward.

So, clean their rooms
put away laundry (which is essentially cleaning MY room)
go to the beach (maybe)
