So, 18 years after taking on my first mortgage, I've just paid it off today! It feels like such a major milestones towards financial freedom. Even better, the house is occupied with a tenant and so is actually making some money.

Just my primary residence mortgage now (which is the big one) and I'm completely debit free.

Good job - I looked back at Year2000 rates, you were probably paying 7 or 8%?

Your home loan is probably a keeper - ie, 30 yrs at <5%?
