Has anyone ever sewn a lace curtain for a sidelight window? (those skinny windows next to doors) That is my next project when I finish my jar quilt block. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I'd love to hear about this too...I have a glass (inset) door and small side panels that I'd like to do this with too for privacy.

Are you thinking of a straight panel (wide enough to gather a bit)with the top and bottom allowing a rod to be inserted to hang it? That's basically what mine was before i took it down.

I did one for our old house, I just took an old lace curtain that I had, cut it down to size, hemmed it, made pockets for the rods on top and bottom and hung it up with yarn as the rods since no-one could see the yarn anyway. Just attached the yarn to nails on the top and bottom. Looked good
