while i'm an excellent cook (if i do say so myself) i can't BAKE worth a tinker's darn...couple years ago i bought a bread maker and i've got to be the only person that could even screw THAT up. sigh. but we so loved the idea and the aroma of home baked bread that we started using those Rhodes frozen bread dough thingies. you get like 5 in the package for about $4 - spritz up the bread pan, pop the frozen bread in, cover it with spritzed plastic wrap, let it set to rise for about 6-8 hours or so, pop it into a 325 degree oven for 26 minutes - PERFECTION! we haven't bought bread from the store in well over a year now.
they also have Texas Rolls which are simply to die for!!!
