I have a question. How do you leave a link to another website without using the url? Like it will say FrugalVillage and you click on the words and it takes you there. Thanks in advance for the help.

On the forum board it's a little different than in basic html.

To do this Frugal Village you would type (URL="http://www.frugalvillage.com")Frugal Village(/URL) only using [ ] instead of ( ). Does that make sense?

Or you could just use the little "insert link" button (it's a little world with a two link chain looking thing).

I can show you how to do off-forum links, too, if you need.

Chele' gave you the correct answer, I would have responded sooner just didnt see this post :(

If you need this done for your own webpage it would be something like:
(a href="http://www.frugalvillage.com")FrugalVillage.com(/a)

Change all the ( to < and the ) to >

To do it the easy way in forums, using Quick Reply to post in a thread, you just have to type the words you want to link, highlight the word(s) with your mouse, and then click on that little globe in the bar above where you're typing. (It's next to the A you pull down to change colors of your text.) Clicking on that little globe will give you a bar where you can type in the URL that you want your highlighted words to link to.

It's the same in the editor for posting entries in Village BLogger.... just look for that little globe symbol. :)
