Yesterday I did great! Got everything on my daily list except I missed 1 hour of my hourly steps and somehow never made it out to the garden to check on things. Still took the puppy for a walk and got big steps in (30+ minutes), but missed my hourly by 1 hour.

Today was an utter fail. I'm still working from home and able to squeeze in a few things here and there during lunch break but things went wonky and I worked through lunch. I was able to do some wiping, straightening and fluffing but never got around to wiping the bathroom or stick vac-ing the floor. Almost nothing else on my daily list. This is going to be rough week until work gets straightened out.

I love lists. I make them very detailed. Like for the kitchen, I list everything that needs to be done, then mark it off. It makes me feel like I really did something. I do need to make a few lists. Okay that will be my to-do this week.

Make a list.

Got my healthy daily's done, came home early from work though with a pounding headache, I think it is allergy related as I slept with the window open, the neighbors had both mowed their lawns and the weeds in the field behind us were cut yesterday. After a couple migraine exedrin and a nap I feel much better. Will now work on one of the projects of the week. Good luck all on accomplishing your to do's. May God bless your day.

Another big fail today. Worked through lunch again. Sat at my work computer ALL day and got a whopping total of 783 steps today, half of which came from putting around the kitchen getting dinner ready. Gonna be like this the next few days and probably in to next week as we wrap up the quarter. Ugh.

Today, DH has to get to Sam's club and take DS2 to get his glasses fixed. I won't join in those activities since I'll be hitting the gym, make dinner and break down boxes to toss. Then, get ready and drive to work.

Today was much better than the last couple of days. I'll update my list this weekend and report what I knocked out and what's new but right now I'm pretty beat. Been a rough week.

Well, here I am … updating my list (sort of, kind of!) almost a week later. I'm happy to say that I got most everything done on my list … with the exception of laundry and mopping my kitchen floor but those will get done (SOON!)

Now to post a new list and see how that will go. So much to do and so little time and really, that doesn't make a lot of sense because I have all the time in the world so I guess I had best rephrase that and say - so much to do and so little ENERGY. Okay, that is way more accurate! lol

Here I am again, another day and ... another list. Now if I'd just actually do the things on the list, I'd be way farther ahead than I am now.

I'm not sure what my problem is - I guess one thing is, with the pandemic as it is, things getting done isn't such an urgency for me ... I've always been a procrastinator but now with the pandemic, a lot of things don't seem to be such a priority because they aren't going anywhere.

I know that probably doesn't make sense to anyone else (or does it?!)

Anyways, here goes my list ... I'm going to keep it shorter this time and see if that helps any. Hopefully it does!

Have an awesome day!
  • Read Linda's e-mail
  • Work on e-mail swap
  • Mail Freda's rent rebate
  • Balance my checkbook
  • Do 5 pages of cut-outs
  • Start swap letter I'm hosting
  • Call Jay to see how he's doing
  • Write out bible reading schedule for August
