what does live topic beside a thread mean ????

I was testing some things on the forums. It is scratched for now. To many bugs.
But what was it supposed to be? Inquiring minds want to know.
It was an enhancement to viewing threads. when a thread was marked as live it would automatically refresh with the new posts when you are viewing it. Kind of like a chat. It's conflicting with some other things we have on frugalvillage. So I will put it on hold.
I thought maybe it meant that there was a chat room on Frugal Village, and people were in it, discussing the topic of that thread.
and no one told us.....haha....(it was a 'secret' chat room....)
