That is pretty good. What are the conditions? This is 6 days after sowing these seeds.
The heat on top, of the refrigerator seems to be perfect. The refrigerator that I have now does not have a warm top, which I truly miss.Ha Ha I am following you Durgan.I used soiless mix in the coffee filter lined cups with drainage holes added. They went into a plastic bag for humidity and were sat on the top of the fridge. When sprouted I opened the bag for a day and then removed and put cups under lights in my indoor GH.They look happy. Thanks again Durgan.
Absolutely perfect. As soon as the third leaf appears give them light, preferably Sun.Here are the Luffa seeds at 10 days, they sure are good growers.
Luffa seeds are not common in local stores. My first seeds were purchased off the internet about five years ago. I save the seeds from year to year. Seeds appear to be viable for long several years, five or more. Each luffa has about 500 seeds.Impressive!
I have been looking for luffa seeds when I am out and about. I haven't found any yet.
I never eat them, only make sponges. A Chinese friend told me in the old days in China people use to take them on trips for using the water they contain, since it was clean, pure and plentiful, particularly with the long luffa. The last luffa I tried to eat was kind of tough, how do you cook them?
Beautiful. These are the same luffa plants as above, but are now 30 days old. These have grown under artificial lights in the house. They are now moved to the GH.
