Cream Of Rice
2 Cups Uncooked Rice
Pour 1/8 of a cup into a food processor and process until powder.
Empty into a clean dry frying pan and repeat until all 2 cups are
processed. (I think you could probably process it all at once
though)
Put the frying pan over medium heat and stir to remove the
moisture from the cereal. DO not toast the cereal or let it
brown. Let cool. Store at room temperature in an airtight
container.
Makes 2 cups powdered cereal or 10 3/4 cup servings
Cooking Directions: Allow 3 Tablespoons cereal, 1 cup water or
milk and a good dash of salt for each 3/4 cup serving. Bring the
salted liquid to a boil over medium heat. Sprinkle the cereal on
top and stir continuously for 45 seconds. Turn off the heat,
cover and let stand for 3 minutes. Serve with your choice of
sugar, syrup, honey, fresh fruit slices, jam, raisins or butter.

Cream of Wheat
2 cups cracked bulgar wheat
Blend cracked bulgar wheat into a powder using a food processor.
Allow 3 Tablespoons cereal, 1 1/3 cup water or milk and a good
dash of salt for each 3/4 cup serving. Bring the salted liquid
to a boil over medium heat. Sprinkle the cereal on top and stir
continuously and bring back to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer
for about 8 minutes, stirring oiften. Serve with your choice of
sugar, syrup, honey, fresh fruit slices, jam, raisins or butter.

Cream of Brown Rice
2 cups brown rice
Blend brown rice into a powder using a food processor. Allow 3
Tablespoons cereal, 1 1/2 cup water or milk and a good dash of
salt for each 3/4 cup serving. Bring the salted liquid to a boil
over medium heat. Sprinkle the cereal on top and stir
continuously and bring back to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer
for about 12 minutes, stirring oiften. Serve with your choice of
sugar, syrup, honey, fresh fruit slices, jam, raisins or butter.

Cream of Barley
2 cups pearl barley
Blend barley into a powder using food processor. Allow 3
Tablespoons cereal, 2 1/4 cups water or milk and a good dash of
salt for each 3/4 cup serving. Bring the salted liquid to a
rapid boil over medium heat. Reduce to a simmer and sprinkle the
cereal on top and stir continuously for 10 minutes. . Serve with
your choice of sugar, syrup, honey, fresh fruit slices, jam,
raisins or butter.

Cream of Corn
2 cups yellow cornmeal straight from the box
Allow 3 Tablespoons cereal, 1 1/2 cups water or milk and a good
dash of salt for each 3/4 cup serving. Bring the salted liquid
to a boil over medium heat. Sprinkle the cereal on top and stir
continuously and bring back to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer
for about 6 minutes, stirring oiften. Serve with your choice of
sugar, syrup, honey, fresh fruit slices, jam, raisins or butter.
