This challenge is for those of us whose philosophy is, if it can be put off until tomorrow, there's no point in doing it today.

This month we're going to focus on finishing up some of those annoying small jobs that won't take long to do, but yet they keep hanging over our heads, unfinished, mocking us.

We're starting off by working on installing the last of the laminate that's been living in front of our TV in the living room for six years. All that's left is to install it in a small walk-in closet in the master bedroom, a job that shouldn't be difficult or take very long. With any luck at all, it'll easily be done today.

Then later in the month, we'll tackle some other small, simple tasks that have been waiting to be completed for a long time.

Who is with us in this challenge?

OK, I'm in....first thing. Remove man living in my basement paying no rent and making my utilities higher than normal. I will do that TODAY!!!

Second thing I will work on this week, is clean out BOTH hallway closets. I will also make my DD clean and organize her room.

Thanks for the challenge.

We got the laminate down. Doubt if it took two hours.

Now I have the same problem you do, Debbie, which little job to do next. But I have a lot to choose from, sadly.

Same here, minus the company.

I really need to deal with my kitchen cabinets. I'm almost done sorting, organizing, and decluttering the entire kitchen. You'd think I could manage to finish it.

Und of this challenge since I always seem to procrastinate. I need to get DD's room cleaned, DS's Bed cleared off (has all the clean laundry folded on it), Organize the attic by seperating all the kids clothes by sizes and season. & I have a weeks worth of homework to do. Please ladies encourage me I need major help. LOL DH isn't helping so no go on asking him.

I am not a procrastinator on most things but there are a lot of those small things that just keep getting put off and are now building up. Yesterday I filled out our federal forms and DH took care of some insurance papers that needed filed.

I might be better with a list of will do'd for the month. So here goes....

~ fill out and file state taxes
~ file fed taxes
~ call homeowners and file claim
~ file glasses insurance
~ go through the boys summer clothes to see what fits and pack for grandmas
~ go shoe shopping with DS#1
~ make the boys check out if thier cleats still fit and deal with it if they don't
~ fight the battle with DH to go through one of his areas that needs to decluttered and then help him with it (there are several of these that keep getting put off)
~ go through my clothes for the trip to inlaws to see what fits ( I am really dreading this one )

If I get through all these there are plenty more to choose from.....

OK. I talked with guy below the stairs about the living arrangement. He agreed if he did not find a job within the next couple of weeks, he would move back home.

Now, I will tackle the closet closest to the front door. I will have this finished by tomorrow, and will then attack hallway closet.

Thanks for the motivation and I hope everyone gets their butts up and gets something done!!! LOL

This is a challenge I need to join.

This thread motivated me to call the phone company to change my plan to save money. I just did that, and I'll save almost $200 a year.:cheer4:

3/3/09 I will mend at least one thing that has been sitting on my sewing machine.

3/4/09 I will finish my pantry inventory tomorrow and print out the list.
