How sad.... This whole economic mess, intolerance, uninformed voters and whole election mess has me so sad. Unfortunately it looks like this is the sign of the times. Where is peoples moral compass, compassion , integrity and for goodness sakes intelligence to stay with the issues? ...

ETA What am I asking this question for......lol so many people don't even know the issues, what bills were put into the bailout bill, the stands of the campaigns and how it will affect them economically next year. This is beyond sad and for others to get attacked for their opinions, stands, signs in yards is sad in this day and age. Sorry off rant.

I am suspicious. She refused medical treatment and the attack happened outside the view of the banks cameras... And the attacker came back to her after he saw her McCain bumper sticker? That's just stupid. Either you're a mugger or your a criminally insane Obama supporter. The chances of both? I'd be stunned.

And everyone knows what happens when a candidates supporters just play straight up dirty. It makes your man look bad. Combine that with the constant accusations (from the right) of Obama's celebrity and 'savior' status, and you've got an invitation for some downright dirty tricks from some overzealous McCain supporters. It's practically an invitation for them to trash their own stuff in order to prove their point about the crazy Obama followers.

Normally I would agree with you Nishu, but tensions are pretty high right now in Pittsburgh because of Murtha's recent statements. He's been spouting off the his area is too racist and that it may hurt Obama's chances.

He has since tanked in the polls and is in danger of losing his Congressional Seat.

This is a terrible thing that happened to this person who ever she is voting for. Period. If in fact it is true. It is enflaming both sides, people already are arguing an Obama supporter did it, no, a McCain supporter did to make it look like an Obama supporter did it. Next she probably did it to herself!

If an Obama supporter really did it I doubt every supporter would support this behavior on a person.

As a McCain supporter I certainly would not think that an act such as that is acceptable if it turned out to be a McCain supporter I would think the person was a nut job!!

The Pittsburgh police are actually investigating this as a possible hoax because too many things aren't adding up. That's not saying it didn't really happen or is a hoax, but there are too many issues with her story. She didn't even mention the bumper sticker or anything political in her first police report and didn't go to the hospital until 4 hours after the incident supposedly happen after she went to a friends house.

Again...not saying it didn't happen, I'm just repeating what's over a few news channels this morning. I'm going to check online and see if I can find something.
