Mini Cinnamon Rolls


Recipe Description
I think I have made every kind of cinnamon rolls there are. This recipe is super easy using the recipe creations dough put out by Pillsbury (or their crescent roll dough) but you could use any pastry dough if you prefer to make your own.

I sprinkled a little extra cinnamon and sugar over the top before baking.​

Ingredients:
Rolls:
2 cans refrigerated Recipe Creations dough (or crescent roll dough)
6 tbsps butter, softened
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped pecans, optional
1 tbsps sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Icing:
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp half and half or milk
1/4 tsp vanilla​
Serves:
Directions:
Stir together butter, brown sugar, pecans, sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.

Unroll dough with long side facing you. Spread half of butter mixture over the dough. Roll up starting with long side in a jelly roll fashion. Using a serrated knife cut log into about 12 slices. Depending on how big you cut the slices, you may have more or less.

Place into greased 8 inch cake pan. Repeat with other can of dough.

Bake at 375º for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown. Cool 5 to 10 minutes.

Stir together icing ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.

Makes at least 2 dozen rolls.​
