First day of the month. Great time for me to get the house back on track after a topsy-turvy June. We are working on revising the housemate agreements with our older kids and the first draft is due this week. The little ones have had a month off from homeschooling while they took swim lessons and have been having other adventures (so much free stuff to do last month). We did pretty good sticking with the budget and cutting food and fuel cost last month but I think we can do better this month.
Today I need to:
Get trash and recycling to the curb
Clean the floors
Clean the kitchen
Wipe down the coffee table
Double check all expenses paid out are on the budget sheet for last month.
I will try to start decluttering for 15 mins a day and will start with the garage.

It is a good day to get caught up.

Today I need to unload and load the dishwasher. Rewash a load of towels I forgot about. I know they soured. Wash more laundry. Change the sheets on the bed. Figure out something for dinner. Menu plan for the rest of the week. The weather is cooler this week, so I'll probably work in the flower beds sometime. I have a mole in the front one, so it's a mess.
