Time to get back to my frugal ways.

Staying in today. It's currently -1 outside, was much lower when dh left for work. :snowman:

I'll be doing laundry, blankets, sheets and towels today. :laundry:

A quick wipe down in the bathroom.

Plugged in the humidifier. Can't stand all the static. I remember my grandma always had a pan of water sitting in front of the heater vent when I was a kid.

Dinner will be pork chops, rice and stir fried veggies. Have leftovers from a veggie tray to use up. Trying to eat better too and no more eating out.

We have so much snow here. I shoveled 5 times in 12 hours lol. Only ran over to my moms to help her dig out. Now I am in for the next few days as it is supposed to go into the negative temp wise.

I have Chicken Taco Soup on the stove for dinner.
Made my meal plan for the month, and only needint to buy 20% of the things for the menu. (Saving money here)
Put plastic on all of the windows, except my big bay window. It is too large for the largest roll, so I am going to have to see about a sliding door cover.
Gonna start laundry here in a few and work on our cable/internet. Gotta find a better deal as they just increased our bill $32.00 a month and took Starz away.

Good morning! Leftover day for sure - chicken tetrazzini for breakfast; meatloaf sandwich for lunch and meatloaf soup for dinner with veggie tray for snacks.

I do need to drive to the other side for a doctors appt and then to visit friends who are visiting Maui. Still need to take in and fold the laundry that I forgot last night.

Same snowstorm hit here in Indiana. The temp was-11 now we are under a snow emergency.
Dh dug us out of the driveway. School is closed today & might be tomorrow. My car's. In the shop we need to pick it up so I can get to work.

Well worked all day...made money. I work for tips and commission at my job...so took as many customers as came my way...doing pretty well for my daily tip total. All that money went towards bills. I am about a week behind on my bills...due to Christmas and my son's birthday being two days after Christmas. Now it's scrimp and scrounge time till the taxes come back in February or March. Work slows down this time of year, so I am lucky for what I can get. Came directly home, doing the speed limit to conserve on gas. Ate leftovers for dinner as did the rest of the family. Trying to watch electric usage as much as I can with 3 other people in the house.

No work today..

had all meals at home.
Husband took his lunch to work
ran to the store and spent $11.40 for potatoes, sour cream, coke, and corn
having steak,potatoes and corn for dinner... i'm starving!!

got our amish heater thingy plugged in and so the gas furnace is turned way down
